Féile Chultúir Chiarraí 2014

We went to Muckross Traditional Farms for this years Féile Chultúir Chiarraí. We were divided into two groups and visited many different houses. 

Baking Kissanes

We learned to bake a loaf of bread and also taste it.

We learnt about some of the old traditions.

Scór 2014

This year our very dedicated dancers took part in Scór na bPaistí in Causeway. They danced very well and all who came to support them on the night were extremely proud. Well done.

     The Senior Infants had great fun looking for their Easter eggs.

Skipping Workshop

Dan the Skipping Man

‘Dan the Skipping Man’ visited our school on Tuesday, 4^th of February. He worked with all classes teaching the children different skipping tricks and techniques such as The Pretzel, The Rodeo, The Cross-Over, Backward Skip, Double Dutch and The Double Jump. We found ‘The Pretzel’ especially difficult but after plenty of practice at break and lunch time every day, we almost have it mastered!

Irish Red Cross Visit St. Teresa's

We were visited by Majella Forde from the Irish Red Cross on the 4th of April 2014. She works very hard as a volunteer.
