Aidan O'Mahony paid a visit to our Junior Infant classroom today with the Sam Maguire Cup and the Tom Markham Cup. We had the best day ever!!!!

Green flag is flying high at St Teresa’s N.S Kilflynn.
St
Teresa’s N.S, Kilflynn has been awarded its first green flag. Everyone has been
working very hard to ensure that their school environment is kept clean and
tidy.

was raised by Ned Breen, a past pupil of St Teresa’s N.S at a special ceremony.
Day at the bog
The 3rd and 4th class visit the bog for the day. They learnt all about the plants and animals in the area and also learnt how to turn the turf.

Junior Infants School Tour ..'Our Medieval Experience'
We had a brilliant day out!!! We discovered what Tralee was like over 800 years ago…it was very different compared to today…..
We also became bone investigators ..we dug up bones and loads of interesting objects:)

Birdwatch Ireland
The 3rd to 6th class went to a talk about Irish Raptures and Owls. They learnt all about their different cries, where they nested, what they ate, where they moved to throughout the year.
All children also got to examine the wings, claws and the pellets.
