‘Outstanding
Success’
St. Teresa’s National School is
still buzzing from the fantastic audience feedback received, following the
outstanding Christmas performance that took place in the Tintean Theatre,
Ballybunion on Friday 18th December.
Sounds of amazement echoed
throughout the Tintean as the younger children of the school performed a medley
of Christmas songs and poems.
The large audience on the night
were wowed by a comical performance of ‘Straw and Order’, a lawfully good
nativity depicting a courtroom scene where donkeys and cows battled for their
rights to stay in the sacred manger. The judge was whisked away by the narrator
to witness the night’s events first hand.
As well as this, the crowd was
entertained by a whole school performance of ‘A Magical Christmas Jigsaw’, a
lively adaptation of the nativity scene. The audience was treated to a
fantastic array of catchy songs and an enchanting script. The children brought
the Christmas story to life as the magical jigsaw was pieced together.
The Staff and Board of Management
are hugely grateful to so many people for sharing their time and skill to help
ensure the show was the best that it could be.
Míle buíochas also to all the
people who donated or sourced prizes for the raffle and to the businesses that
provided sponsorship and gifts. Your generosity exceeded all expectations.
